Puck's Diary.....

Hello, lovers of dreams and dreamers of love. I am Robin Goodfellow. Call me Puck, I prefer that over Robin. Far too long, I must say. I am the mischievous sprite so loved by Oberon, King of the Fairies.  You must know me. What's that? You say you don't? Oh, what a pity!  Well, I'll tell you more about myself. 

I am a knavish sprite. I love mischief and pranks. My favourite prank to play is to go around the village dancing in the milk and skimming ll the fat  off. And then look how that dairy maid labours to make her butter! It is absolutely hilarious, I tell you. 

And then, I walk into the pub (or fly into it), and all the old ladies are sitting there on stools drinking ale . There I go, bounce into her mug of ale and bob against the old goody's lips not letting her drink. Then look at her, looking like a small child who doesn't know how to eat! (laughs)And on she goes to tell a sad melancholy story about her troubles (now why would she think that?). Then I hurry next to her and tip her stool over and she falls right off! What a laughing stock they all become.
